Ambient songs for synthesizer and guitar, performing new work with singers Geneva Skeen, Jackie Steele, Olive Kimoto, Ang Wilson, Ana Roxanne, and Christina Gubala.

somesurprises began as the solo project of Natasha El-Serghany. In 2016, Natasha began performing with Josh Medina (Medina/Walsh), who adds warm atmospheric tones and effects on electric guitar. In 2017, somesurprises released “Serious Dreams” on cassette. (A vinyl release forthcoming.) The music draws inspiration from emotionally-resonant movie scores, lo-fi/shoegaze legends, and decades of heartbroken country, soul, pop, and folk.

Teasips is the moniker of Ang Wilson, manifested as a long-form project to explore experimental music through everyday ritual. The pink stones and the hornet hive. Radius. Amethyst. Nightjar. Moonflower. Railcar. Carapace. Oracle. Rogue. Royal. Fleece. Amorite. Cabinet. Cancer. Hillock. Woodcock. Parsley. Bone. All outer objects, not themselves, but standing for something abstract and inner.

Southeast Asian devotional music. An offering to the romantics, spirit people, and the great R&B divas of the 20th century.
