Performs works by Anderson, Cage, and Hennies
Wednesday, February 1 at 8pm

Bent Duo is a new project by NYC-based performers Bill Solomon and David Friend.

The project explores a set of interwoven ideas including the further development of repertoire for the under-utilized instrumentation of piano+percussion duo, the queering of traditional relationships between musicians, their instruments, and their fellow performers, and collaboration with composers and musicians who are forging new paths in the world of music and sound.

In their program at Betalevel, Bent Duo will premiere a new work by Los Angeles-based Casey Anderson on a program that also includes music by Sarah Hennies and John Cage.
