Oh, sure, we could’ve kicked off the return of Bollywood Night with something safe, something expected. A romantic comedy, perhaps. Or a weepy drama. But where would be the fun in that? No, better to begin with something more left field: a genre film — specifically, here, a horror film, a relative rarity in Indian cinema.
In 1920 (the film and the year), an architect and his wife move into a mansion that is slated for demolition to make way for the hotel he has been charged with designing for the site. And, well, it being a horror film, things do not go as smoothly as planned.
